You see there in lies the problem, with his dual nationality, he has two version of his name, and also holds both passports (I've seen them). His name is different in portugese compared to the english name, therefore when police look up his details in portugese, they find nothing.

If I, errr, I mean someone, was to whisper in the coppers ear about his english name, then he'd be in a smelly creek without equipment to move his boat.
