Cant see how that happens as its notchy between OFF and PARK, so usaly you will go to off then have to push the key down to get it into PARK. Anyway it could be that your lock has lost a little of its notchyness.

Unlikely, it's only 1 month old with 400 miles on it. Maybe I won't push it down ....

Personally, after I came back to a flat battery and had to push the bike home, I never put the key in the wrong position again. It worked for me!!

I have left mine a few times in park accidently. so I agree the initial question is valid !..

I always turn it all the way to park and then back one. Haven't left them on once!
