Just a thought but what about stick on magnets? You can then whip the big plate on the little ne in seconds

i did think of that.....but where do you buy them? ? ? ? ?

also velcro? but it would mean sticking on the front of the small plate

Any hardware store me thinks, B&Q and the like.

What if you stick some strong magnets to the back of the small plate and the back of the big plate. Then the force (Luke) should be strong enough to hold the plates together without seeing the magnets

this is what i was thinking of............ i think its used for displaying price cards on shop shelves?



the 2 yellow things are my plates & the red bit would act as a spring type thing holding them together?

The pigs, now thers and endearing 70's term!

Hovis, theres small plates, then theres a 9x3. id change it to be honset. Why on earth would you have to remove the tial and rear light to undo 2 bolts, plastic ones at that?

And why would you want to have the huge (legal) plate behind the other one?... wouldn't that be a "obscuring the license plate" offence?

cos thats how i have fitted it, if i had not cut all the snow shovel away i would not have to, but i did
