Thanks guys. The offs were annoying but didn't do anythng to detract from th experience of the track. I learnt a lot about track riding while I was there, especially in the wet. You have much more grip on track than on the road!!! Saw the Performance Bike lot while we were there, they were scarily quick but they ride with almost no margin for error.........as a few riders found out!

Wow, glad you enjoyed & survived. You must have some good crash bungs to come off so lightly.

No bungs at all mate. Just luck!

Annoying/Ironic thing is I had ordered some R&G's a week before the trip but they did not come in on time. They are in now though..................

Will still put some on for my next Nurburgring trip in August. Hopefully the Hornet will have a few mods by then. I would like the following but will see how money goes:

New paint job and tank/plastic repair
Progressive fork springs
Ohlins rear shock
Carbon fibre mudguard/side panels
HUGE crash bungs

The tank's Blue! resprayed?
Is that a custom seat?
Brake levers?

Yep, metallic blue. Been resprayed at some point so was a little surprised to see that! Seat is standard as far as I know. Rear brake lever bent but not broken and still works, front brake lever has lost some weight (about 2 grams) but works perfect.
