me 2, they state in the small print that you wont be allowed on the track if you are restricted to 33bhp. and dont think they dont check . . . they photocopy your licence as there checking it. |

Never had that happen, so guessing it depends on the organiser.
I don't think they even turned my license over to check entitlements last time I went. But to avoid losing money and being disappointed I'd still check as suggested. |

No Limits certainly used to check until quite recently. A young lass we know had a track day booked with them and was not allowed on track once they saw her restricted license.
Definitely worth checking before booking!

From all the track organisers i have seen advertising and their websites and track websites, i am sure they all say FULL A licence.
So i think it will be very hard to find a track day where 33BHP licence holders are allowed on. I personally cant see the logic to this as why cant you put the full ECU in as its not on a public road. does that mean that all GP stars have to havea full Licence to go on UK tracks?? no cos Bradly smith cant even ride a scooter legally in the uk but he races all over the world. seems mad to me. |

i think it not only depends on the organiser, but who the track itself is owned by - i know motorsportvision who own (?) cadwell, snetterton etc. say that noone with a restricted license can ride there.
ive done a trackday at Mallory on a restricted license with the restricted ecu still in - license wasnt checked, i did offer it to them but they just said they "gauge each rider by how they ride, as oposed to just checking a piece of paper" id highly recommend mallory as a first time track, specially on a restricted license HTH |

Some organisers accept race licences as well (I think), but a road licence is the simply the easiest way to check that you can ride a bike to a reasonable standard, preventing people who've never ridden a bike in their life finding their way onto a track. |

I can understand they want to see a licence to prove you know what you are doing so not to be a danger to yourself and others , but would 33BHP be much of a problem? or even letting you swap it out as the laws of the road dont apply to the track. |
