If they're studs with nuts I'd just split the nuts, or Dremel them off, then run a die down the threads and put them back the way they were with a good dollop of high temp copper grease on the threads and brass nuts. they are the original cheeeesy studs and nuts...well whats left of the nuts that is... i wish i'd taken a photo of the half disintegrated ones that crumbled off when you poked em. The studs however seem to be an absolute mother to tackle

They're M6 studs with nuts on. I have some stainless replacements, however I can hardly get a spanner on these at all.

Freeze and release spray, propane, and if it really annoys me, oxyacet is ready.

I have spare heads if it comes to that, but they're from a 99, so black coated which I don't think she'd like!

Going to throw a load of fairing panels at her in a minute or 3 as they're in my way, and she's gone to the butty shop good girl that she is.

I've got some rather gruesome photo's of Suzy now which I shall be uploading soon. Maybe a guide to how not to treat your SV!!. i have now been polishing the forks for 2 days!!. They are rather pitted, look better than what they were ,but, i am now going to have to get nasty, as my elbows have run out of grease and my poor little fingies are worn to the bone. The nitromorse trick of Lissa'a kinda worked, but these mothers are sooo bad.

Chris still hasn't managed to get the studs even loose, the nuts had to be cut off.

Right.

The nuts came off when I ground half of them off, could then spin them off by tapping them with a punch.

Had to get a fine chisel behind the clamping plate to get that to shift.

Just got the actual header out of the head as it was rusted solid. Had to soak it in penetrant oil for 2 days, use freeze and release on it, then beast it with a lump of wood and a hammer.

The studs are currently having a bath, will have a go at those tomorrow, say a prayer for them!
