I tihnk I'll have the choice thanks.

Last thing we need is dozy car drivers with lights on all the time, I'll have to get an even more overpowered headlight then to be seen at all.

I'm in two mind as to whether they should be on all the time or not.

I have a friend who has been pulled out on BECAUSE his light were on. Due to the hardish ride of bike every bump in the road can often make it look like your headlights are flashing. The women said she thought he has flashed her out.

But they shouldn't have their headlights on all the time, just DRLs (glorified sidelights) so you don't need to escalate the light race.

My bike headlight is always on, my car headlights are off in good visibility side lights in blinding sun/dim/fog etc. and on when I need them.

Leave my lights on all the time. You can see a bike a lot further away with the headlamp on. It's normally the numpty driver that isn't taking any notice on the road that causes the incident, or the motorcyclist that's in a drivers blind spot

i cant stand car drivers who have a headlight out, so put there fog lights on instead...when its not foggy!!! im fed up of being dazzled all the time!

they obviously know they have a headlight out as they know to put foglights on.

i spent a good extra hour fixing and checking my headlight after having dodgy wiring/connector just to make sure it was fixed and i would be seen at all times!!! it meant i kept pulling over and checking the light and wiring wasnt being intermittant...but from a safety point of view it was worth it!!!

I used to ride with my lights on during the day, but have stopped doing so. The amount of times I've seen lights from the opposite direction bobbing up and down, if I was dumb enough to think so, I'd think they were flashing me.
I've decided that with or without lights dozy fecks can't see you. With or without a loud can, they can't hear you, bright yellow bike don;t mean nowt, even with a neon sign on your head and an arrow pointing at you doesn't necessarily mean you aren't going to get knocked off, 'because I didn't see you coming'

I had a taxi driver the other week come out of a side road, I was going 28 ish, wasn't wanting to stop at all, and he pulled out waving at me smiling. I had to jam on the brakes on a main road, with someone up my butt.
Even when they eyeball you and see you coming they are out to kill you......and will bloody wave at you while they do it
