I don't know much about bikes. But even to me, this doesn't sound like a good idea.

HTH.

PS: Now that you've practiced on yours... fancy a fiddle with a TT?

Well Zig I've found my spot and it seems the inforad will be getting a thorough test of it's waterproofness. I mailed them a while back and this is what they said:

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for contacting Inforad Technical support,

We could not sell the M1 for motorbikes if it was not completely Waterproof,..."

So there we go. I you need waterproof crimps I'll bring some to Soho with me.

Who me? you owe me nothing of the sort my good man...unless you nicked it when i wasn't looking??

Thank you everyone for your help and advice. I'd like to let you know i've now fitted the Inforad and been out for a ride to make sure its all working etc. The lack of speed cameras in my local area mean didn't get to test that part yet, but i'm not complaingin about the lack of speed cameras before you think i've gone nuts.

Best bit is that my bike hasn't caught fire or anything so the wiring must have been done right and i didnt even electrocute myself in the process or damage another partt of the bike while was i was doing this. All things ive done before when trying to fix things

Now if anyone needs an hand fitting theirs or any advice on it, i'm happy to help
