With a stock SV, there isn't that much difference in flow from a slip on can to the standard one.
And you try any can on the market, it will be so similar as to be not worth a jetting change against any other.

Easiest is slingshot stuff, but SRAD isnt much harder and better kit.
Re. jet kits and stuff, there are generally no jetting problems just with a slipon can. So if you want to spend £60 on a jet kit knock yourself out...

really? all the baffles and such in side the can is more restrictive than a just a pipe? .....

well yes - but the backpressure helps midrange torque
to get the bhp i got I had to put in injected cams (its a curvy), then do all the jetting, balancing etc result 71 BHP and 45 ft/lb torque!! ![]() ![]() then I had to do suspension and brakes to match!! |
