I like Rossos but it all depends on what the bike will be used for. I had Z6's only Sv and they were good.
You have to weigh up longevity against super stickness which might never be used. |

I just want tehem to be good all year round resonable wear and to be really good in the corners, I live in Milton Keynes so lots of roundabouts
![]() My local garage has said they will fit a Mitchelin 2CT for £120 and a Pilot 2 for £90 is that good??? Last edited by SUPERSTARDJ01; 19-08-09 at 02:25 PM. |

I assume they're offering the Pilot Power 2CT, and Pilot road 2. Pilot road 2 would be my pick of the pair, unless you're spending lots of time on track doing fast pace. I've been running Pilot Road 2s on my ZX6R for a few months and haven't found them wanting. My house-mate Benji got 10,000 miles from his last set and was posting times in the fast end of inters at the last Brands Hatch Track day on his ZX6R. If you need more grip than that on the road then you're probably riding on the limit the whole time, which is a recipie for an expensive accident ![]() Jambo

Bugger. He was on sports touring rubber?! Give him a nipple cripple from me.
(Sorry to derail). I'd be very careful about fitting a totally different rear on it's own, especially if the front isn't particularly good. IMO you should get a pair of sports touring tyres like the Z6 or pilot roads. |

Had michelins, standard rubber, Dunlop D208rr's and Avon storms - Avons wipe the floor with the lot of them.

Not that this is a way to make it obvious you're from Lancashire...
