Baby Wyrdness is too young to speak yet, but he still does some cute things. He was watching a cartoon recently about a stuffed bear that helps children. A little girl on the cartoon gave the bear a hug. On seeing this, Luis turned round, walked over to me and gave me a hug too.
He seems to like bikes. One of our neighbours has a VN1600 with loud Vance & Hines pipes. It's got a lovely deep rumbling v-twin sound and Luis gets very excited when he hears it, and goes running to the window. I think that he might be a v-twin aficionado like his daddy. |

Great things kids do? Wave when you ride by. Adults sometimes veiw bikers as some sort of anti-social group, but kids seem to love us.
My neice, for a while, would call me "broom broom mammoo" on acount of my bike. Also, out of all the bikes parked up in my dad's garage (mint GSXR750, mint VFR400, crappy scooter, my middle-ground SV) she liked mine the most. Reason? "lellow" (yellow) there we have it. 10 year old yellow curvy SV's. Officiaully Approved by my 2-year old neice. In your face owners of other colour bikes ![]() |

We were at the zoo when my daughter was 5, watching 2 tigers sleeping. The male was laying there with the most ENORMOUS 'plums' on display. My daughter turns around and says:
"you can tell which ones the boy mummy" "Really, how?" "Its the one with the huge.........PAWS!!!!" PMSL ![]() |

my 3yr old boy hears my coming home from work, runs to the front door as he always wants a lift to the garage at the back of the house, he rides between me and the tank, the 5yr old girl wants so much to ride pillion, but i have told her she can't till both feet touch the pegs so comes and checks most days, she gets very disapointed bless her, she does ride on the back with me at the top of the close if shes been a good girl she gets off the bike grining from ear to ear,http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1391552863

I've got my 3 month old started early...soon as the race is on TV he stops everything to watch. This morning he had to be fed lying on the couch as if I had him sat up he couldn't see the TV and kept pushing the bottle out the way.
can't figure out if he's a rossi or stoner fan yet though. Ste

I was outside fitting a new indicator to the SV a couple of weeks ago when the little eight year old boy from the upstairs flat came home. He saw me and started to chat about the bike saying how cool it was. He was so enthused I asked him if he wanted to help fix it and sure enough he ran into his Mum and asked if he could stand in the rain with me and fix the bike.
He was really helpful too and was most upset when his Mum called him in ten minutes later for his tea. |

My newest nephw is now 8 months old so yesterday I went for a walk with him and the rest of the family. Bored with the normal walk round the lakes I decided to head off into the woodland hilly walk with the buggy and go off roading. This nearly killed me - however, the little chap loved it. He started making an 'eeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr' noise like an idling engine so that as I went over all the bumps and tree roots his voice went 'errrerrreeeerrreerrrrr'. Then he'd just laugh himself silly. If I stopped or slowed he'd flap his little arms to make me go faster again. A future as a rally driver beckons I think.
