I put gaffa tape over the rear panels of the VFR to protect against scratches and the like while touring. She's being prepped for sale now and removing the gaffa tape has revealed a white powdery residue of the adhesive.

Any tips for removing this?
Mike, get yourself some label remover from Maplins, its a small aerosol. Perfect for getting this sort of thing off.

I often use it to remove scrutineering stickers from my race fairings but basically shifts any tape of label or tape residue.

Solvents are the best for this, as i said earlier, thinners or White spirit will do nicely.
