I suspect that the Raptor is fuel injected, so won't have a choke (correct me if I'm wrong), which is why I wondered if it was a fuel injection sensor. That would have the same effect of an incorrect mixture which would affect running.

You're right Wyrdness, it is FI.

I just spoke to the guys in the shop and it's going in tomorrow and they'll look at it for me so fingers crossed it gets fixed soon.

I get the raptor back yesterday and it's all fixed and happy now It turned out to be a huge amount of grit and muck in the fuel that had got into everything. They had to strip the whole fuel system down to clear it and they did this free of charge - all I paid for was the petrol. Top blokes at Road and Racing in Hyde - I can't praise them enough for the service I got (fnurk fnurk )

Anyways, we're all happy again so thanks everyone for your suggestions - you're all ace
