The guy at k-tech said it would be new oil and gas for £70, obviously if a new bush, seal or spring is needed then it would go up. I think a rebuild from them costs around the £250 from some local guys who have had that done

if your shock has done that many miles then it is advisable to get it redone properly and not just regassed. It will need new seals, scraper seals etc etc, IE a full service.

The Ohlins should be serviced once every 1-2 years dependant on mileage. My race shock is done every year and you can tell the difference when adjusting it.

At the age of your shock it would be about £120-£140 dependant on what parts are required. £250 is far too expensive unless it needs a new body and rod!.

Ohlins springs are £45 inc vat.
