The fuse on the SV is rated 10A and also feeds the signals and a few other bits. So for the Nautilus you will most certainly need a relay whereas with the Magnum you might get away with a straight swap. Personally I would fit a relay in both cases.
Thanks for clearing that hope just hope i can pick one up at Halfords. Will prob fit a relay too as most have recommended.

Thanks guys

I bought stebel magnum for £11.99 from Larkspeed. (£24 for the compact which is bigger) Most car horns are too big and ugly too. A bike breaker will sell you a used one for about £4.00. I would recommend the Stebel Magnum

Last question gettin my Magnum tomorrow and am going to wire in a relay. Do i need to wire a fuse in line from the battery or is the relay sufficient??

Also is the Mountney Magnum for sale at Halfords the same?? Looks exactly the same?

The relay is just a electrical switch, the horn button operates it. the feed from the battery to the relay MUST be fused as near to the battery as possible. Let me know how it sounds. I would buy a genuine Stebel.

When you get your in line fuse make sure it the blade type they are much better than the twist together glass fuse holders.

Typical reserved the horn online with halfords along with all the connectors, wiring, fuse holders etc, drove across town to pick it up only to be told it is now obsolete and the one they are showing in stock wasn't there! Made me so cross as i thought this was why you provide contact details! Will try pick on up in the next week.
