Cheers

as for two of davey bell's bikes running up at ef!! rubbish, even if there were, his bike last year yes had kent cams in for the manx, all the other ones were stock with a power commander on, if your taliking about mike minns on his er6 up there,it eas a road bike on the thursday before ef,it had standard down pipes on,a home made end can + road gearing!! ive suggested at the club that the UL is scrapped next season and anyone wanting to have a modified minitwin go's in the thunderbikes, i cant do it on my own, instead of people winging on'on this forum.come along to the club on a thusday night and lets get it sorted!! i'm going this thursday and im going to sort a thursday in the next few weeks to address this UL farce once and for all, if anyone thinks this is a good idea let me know please...
If that is a case with the older bikes, there is one (or was) running a breathed on lump (after its been sold), as Carl and a couple of others could not keep up a EF on the straights.

I agree that the U-L is scrapped with the modified/ Manx bikes running in the Thunderbikes would level it out a bit.

I would live to know how race officials can think a quali can be done in 2 laps

I just wanted to add a couple of points...
1. I'm sure that Dave Mallon may be an experienced and competant Technical Inspector, but i'd love to know how he intends to measure BHP with his bare hands??!!
2. What he needs is the full list of Minitwin regulations and then-and surely only then, the class will possibly become properly regulated.
4. Surely if the cost of everyone not racing entry fees were added up, the club could finance a dyno no probs??

Hope to see some of you at the Knockhill meeting.

The Dyno thing has been looked at, you'd make returns relatively quickly as it would be 20-30 bikes minimum a meet that would require technical inspection, and could be used on other classes/ riders if they're needing to use it

No time to run it again because of all the dithering about they do. I'm sick and tired of getting the final call and sitting in the holding area for god knows how long. I think the majority of people that have raced with a few clubs put NE at the bottom of the list for the meeting being well run. Hopefully this will change when Stu takes over...........

We know where they are Chris. My point is that they are not in the paddock mate.

This was done Tony. I printed a few copies off and gave them to him. Took my bike up to him at the start of scrutineering and showed him all the things that they should be looking out for.
Everyone started to take their bikes up and **** all got mentioned to anyone. In fact, not one thing had changed. It was the same as it had been in the past. I thought, what was the point !!!!

****ed me off enough to sell my bike

The people that can make the changes are already aware of the situation. It's up to them to take it onboard and sort it out. How many times does it need highlighting to them ?

I know it's not just up to you, but your on the committee. Isn't it enough that a committee member is complaining and aware of the situation ?

thats good to hear tony, im going to sort it out this thursday with the club, but like ive said, i cant do it on my own, every twin rider who rides with the nemcrc and has issues with the UL class must come along and put there point accross, i'm giong to try and get the modified twins kicked out for knockhill, theres only pixy and rab davey really left, and going to try and use bob grants dyno on the bikes that look like there pushing out more than 72bhp, i dont think to be honest there will be any. but we will see..

toot i hear what ya saying, but i need some back up on the situation, like ive just said to tony, all twin riders need to come and put there point accross, what im going to try and sort is,committee memebers and just the minitwin riders,so they cant move on a talk about anything else..
