Oh yeah, and I bought a silver sports car to match my bike!
So- as I've clearly missed the thread, why the retirement? Though I'm sure riding around Islington can't be the nicest biking jaunt in the world- driving there's bad enuff (or at least parking!)

Dunno what I would be classed as. I got:

Roof helmet
Dainese leather jacket and jeans.
Alpinestars gloves and boots.
The SV has been tweeked a bit in looks as well.

Not rich though.

eye trouble, innit.

Living in Islington wasn't that bad for riding - a couple of near death experiences on the way to work sets you up for the day nicely.

Err, me, fashion, err, no.

Granted the new bike looks good but in reality the SV image sticks.

So no im not a fashion person, i buy what is practical.

Standard stock of Shoei, Sidi, RST, HG, Dainese, nothing special as they are all cheep bits and do the job i want them to.

LOL! I used to gig every week (up to 3 times a week sometimes) at the Kings Head. Getting parked outside was MURDER! Had some real @rsehole cops who gave me aggro for parallel parking while I unloaded the gear once- totally unreasonable... Had some great times there, though...

Am happy to spend money on quality. But find it difacult to spend more than £300 on leathers. Picked up a nice set of 2nd hand Alpinestars leathers right here on the org for half of that - lots of life left. Quality lids from the start though - no compromise here.
