So don't claim. I bet a front end will be cheaper than excess and policy loading next year!

Also bike isn't a write off if you fix it yoursen.

No I mean in premiums. If I put on a gixxer front end I'd have to mention it to the insurance and most insurers said they wouldn;t insure me with mods but a few were well over the grand mark. And that's before this claim!

A standard one is on now but it's knackered and I was considering replacing it with gixxer ones. And I'm not claiming it's the person I hit that is.

So your insurance won't be weighted next year anyway ... you'll still have NCB seeing as your off was his fault. Gixxer front doesn't put policy up that much.

It was my fault in the eyes of insurance.

Unfortunately lol. I went into the back of an audi at about 40,45 mph. Front ends ballsed, so's back aswell coz it flipped. Insurance already costs me £550 thirdpft without a claim, £950 with mods I think if at all. Any idea how mcuh gixxer forks cost? Would I be better just gettin some sv forks and doing the springs and oil (I've been offered some second hand ones pretty cheap.)

Yeah if it's really going to shag you on insurance, standard forks aren't that bad when set up with springs and oil.

Gixxer front can cost a fair bit. Over 300 depending on where you get all bits from.
