hehe not really

I hope your ****ing about too mate, otherwise im proper concerned for the safety of you and others around you.

If you arent put the tools away, and trade the bike in at a dealer. least that way it will be safe before it gets back on the road...........

Its not hard to service correctly when on a budget, i'm a student too, but you just have to learn to economise:

Theres the air filter, oil filter and oil package at hein gericke.

And you can allways stop spending money on bits you dont really need like race cans and air filters......jet kits.... blah blah.

A well maintained standard bike will allways bemiles better than a shagged out mildly tuned one...

Sometimes you just have to spend money to save it, you will be well in the **** if your motor goes pop.

All the bits and bobs I have done have been on the cheap, you just have to use your nouse. Polished the wheels myself, do servicing myself (helps having worked at a garage at stages in my life admittedly), knocked up a tail tidy, managed to get a road legal high level can on the cheap by sorting it (you guessed it).

I won't bang on, i'm sounding like an old giffer.

What do you do at uni/college, Comedy studies?

Please dont tell us your doing a mechanics apprenticeship.......

I think now i'll clear a few things since my mechanical skills are under question! The bit about the brakes I did largely for fun. Yes I had to rub grease on the front brake to get it out the shed, but I dragged the brakes to get rid of it. There was no hitting a car I added that for fun.

The wrong oil is true and since I had no idea about these non-frictional parts I make no apologies!

I'm glad I made people laugh! but don't think I'm a moron!

Eh? I thought you said that you were going to stop making up stupid things to do to entertain us?

I'm glad you are proud of it but it might be easier if you ask before making assumptions in the future. Particularly as you might now need a set of new clutch platest depending on the oil damage.

I think some forum members are being a bit hard on the lad, we all learn by our mistakes, it just so happens he is making a few more a bigger mistakes than most.

Sorry, just sticking up for a fellow Geordie (this does not mean that I dont find this thread funny, because it is! Infact I showed Mrs PC last night!)

Andrew, When you go out (in the car please) to buy your new motorcycle oil/filter (don't attempt to reuse the filter either). Please buy yourself a new set of brake pads as well. Otherewise that virtual car may not be a figment of your imagination. You have just written off your pads by impregnating them with grease. You can't see it but it is there.
