You're probably putting it in too far and the auto-cutoff is activating on the nozzle when the fuel touches it.

While you're sat on the bike with it upright: you only need about 1" of the nozzle inside the tank, squeeze till it cuts off, then pull it out so its just touching the lip and give a gentle squeeze to brim the tank.

If you're not the sort that likes to sit on your bike when fuelling, then this is my method - I stick the nozzle in and push it over towards the left (so the end is pointing to the right). Doing that, you're spraying the fuel into the airy side of the tank while it runs around to the opposite side, which should speed things up.

The pointy's have a smaller filler neck inside the tank so you don't get the wrong nozzle I assume - different to the curvy - I fill mine up sat on it, but you can't bloody see when it's full so you have to back the nozzle out a bit so you can see - as long as you are careful - you can do it and see where the level is.

I just got 170 ish or 165 before flashing light. But i'd been riding like a girl all afternoon. Generally get 140ish when riding more normally.
I had that fuel thing too, i just bring it out slightly, but not so much that it goes all over the OUTSIDE of the tank :/ ahem, not that I ever did that you understand.
