Chain and Sprocket Question - SV650.org

Does anybody know if the chain and sprockets for a Pointy are the same as the ones fitted to the Curvy SV650S. I can get a DID chain and sprocket kit for a very good price for an 02-07 and wondered if it would fit my 99. Any info much appreciated. Cheers.

the K2 (2002 model) is the same as your 99 model so presumably they are.

However for clarity the 99-02 and k3 onwards are spec'd for the SVS as 15/44 (sprockets) and 525/108 link for the chain.

For the naked it's 15/45 & 525/110.

So make sure you check the numbers.
