Default I think I've really screwed up the elecrics this time...

To cut the whole story short I've buggered the datatool alarm on my SK4 while trying to extend the indicators. I cut the wires and soldered an extension onto them. As soon as I tried to switch the ignition the alarm went off and will not stop and the bike will not start Any ideas on what to do?
The alarm is a datatool system 3.

Sounds to me like your alarm isnt disarming.

Have you got a spare keyfob ? if so try and disarm the alarm with that

If not find the alarm manual and try and resynch your keyfob with the alarm.

Failing that you might have blown a fuse

Cant really offer much help, I've had problems with my data tool before and the re-sych process sorted them out

have you tried dissarming with the security code via the ignition?

I do beleave that there is also an internal fuse inside the datatool unit, but you will need security torx bits to get it open.
