Default Almost knocked off today

I was on the ring road in Bristol near Frenchay today, I was about 30 yards from the M32 roundabout and slowed down as the lights went to amber, I was in the middle lane and out of nowhere a Chrysler Voyager cut me up and missed me by about a foot as he floored it through a red light.
Anyone from Bristol will know that this is always a fairly busy area so by the time the lights changed and I had caught upto him he was only 200 yards away and stuck at the Hambrook lights in traffic, so as I filtered upto him I could see him pretending not to look in his mirrors. Anyway I followed him into downend (2 miles) and he turned into a dead end realised what he had done and tried to turn around I came upto his window and ushered him to lower it so as to have a word.
I asked him if when he was being a reckless **** and speeding through a red light, did he notice that he nearly hit me off my bike as he cut me up, and his reply was..."I am really sorry mate, I saw you at the last second and scared myself when I just missed you, I am really ashamed" then went on to tell me his son was in the hospital and he wasn't thinking straight.
I said to him that I had very nearly joined his son, and then he tells me again that he was really sorry and should know better as he himself was a biker.
I replied with,"If you are a biker then you should be f***ing ashamed and told him I hoped that he never has a w***er do to him what he had done to me. Then I left.

I was absolutly gobsmacked when he said he was a biker

It might have looked a little better for the Voyager driver if he had pulled up and got out of his vehicle at the first opportunity after the incident. Then wave you down and indeed indicate his genuine apology.

For him to shoot off and only come clean when cornered, sounds like he was a lying c*nt to me. Giving a sob story to lessen Big Dog's anger.

I take that route every day going to and from work and people are always jumping those lights.

There is a red light camera on the hambook lights and I once had to do an emergency stop in the outside lane to avoid 3 points and when I stopped a car came skidding past me on the inside and stopped about 10 metres over the line and had to reverse.

Thank god he wasn't in my lane!
