Card has been cloned!

Tris's bank card has been cloned.
Only found out today when we went to go out for lunch and couldnt get any cash out.
A THOUSAND pounds overdrawn/taken from our account!

Been bank, got card stopped etc, seen all the dodgy transcations, all in euros or dollars, and 3 payments to an ISLAMIC rights fund group

Its not via paypal or anything like that as i use my card for that, so someone has copied his card. Feel sick

Its the curse of modern society I'm afraid, my credit card was cloned a while back. Bank stopped it before any funds or sales were made on it.

Unfortunately... sh*t happens, not much you can do about it. Is the bank sorting it all out for you ?

Mine was cloned and the buggers got £200 out of a cash machine. Bank reimbursed it immediately.

You ain't alone! I've had mine cloned twice in the last 5 months! I'm with Natwest and they caught the erroneous transatctions before anything went through both times. They were excellent at sorting it.

Hope your bank sorts it out for you OK. Try not to feel to bad about it, just look at it as becoming a member of a special club. They only clone the cards of the best people you know!

There's so many ways you could of fallen foul to this it's stupid.

Just good news that the bank have realised that the transactions aren't you (or are you helping to fund terrorism?!?! ).

Presumably the Islamic rights group, when told of this, will refund the money - they wouldn't want to receive stolen funds?
