I'm enjoying this thread, but I don't have a clue what most of them are
I know what a lot of them are, but someone has already answered by the time I log on......or I have no clue what it is.
But I'm enjoying this thread as well...
Some real tough ones ....Lozzo and MrC are amazing. :notworthy:
I admit I find this a little bit easy at times, but I have a slight advantage. I've worked in the bike trade on and off for a long time. I've been riding for 30 years and had an interest in bikes from the age of about 8. Back then there were still a lot of old Brit bikes still in regular use. Identifying small sections of a bike isn't too difficult for me. I have at times put this to good use, as one of my mates worked with the Stolen Vehicle Squad and used to drag me in to help them identify what bikes parts had been removed from. I'd be let loose with a garage load of bits and asked to group them together from each particular model.
It got odd one day when I arrived and found a garage full to the ceiling with just Yamaha 1000 Exup parts. I knew exactly which model, but had to sift through the lot to try and determine just how many of them had been nicked/broken. Turns out it was 11 of them all told, all in a single council rented lock-up garage
I think I must just be a saddo bike nut, I'm only 24 so I don't know how I know some of them, I just kind of do.
Anyways, here you go, an all time fave of mine. I'm not sure if it's a bit easy, but hopefully the size will hinder you!

The white stripe on the tank gave it away as being a GS1000, from then it was a simple case of using my superior google-fu

Yeah I was fairly sure that'd leave it open leaving that stripe on. Still, it's a belting machine.
See if the clever ones can guess this one from a small pic. Sorry, but couldn't find a bigger one to crop from. By the way, exact make and model required here.

Vetter X-75 Hurricane, based on a BSA Rocket 3. The black barrels and exhaust headers gave it away. Trident 150V, 160V and the normal Rocket 3 had plain alloy barrels and the exhaust headers went to one side on the X-75.

Almost, but not quite there yet :D
Triumph Daytona 955i Special Edition
Black wheels AND bodywork were only on the special edition I think?
We have a winner. The SE was the only Daytona 955i to leave the factory with all black bodywork, wheels and frame.
This was my old one:

Fizz, it's close enough, so ladies & gentlemen we have a winner :):):)
I would have thought that it's small, not from Italy & the airport thing might have pointed at France, which would have led to Peugeot.
It is this one, the Playboy edition, but you can have that one Fizzwheel, well done. Lozzo had it as well :)

it clearly is though :D
While it looks like one its not exactly the same as the ones I have seen.
it clearly is though :D
It very clearly is not.
Here's an NX125, and it's not like the pic Fizz posted. NX has a low mudguard and the headlight surround is a part of the tank flanks. Nothing like the bike Fizz posted.

I emailed Fizz with the answer a while ago, which he confirmed was correct so I do know you're wrong.
