Oh and i'm not sure how meeting the day trippers is going to work, I think it's only Redlavachips that wants to do the day trip? My original rideout idea has been changed so the rideout starts from the campsite.

Preparation is for girls...;)

Theres a few campsites near by, theres one close to Minehead thats quite big if you fail to get a space in Porlock (I think you will though) i'll go round with you to try a few if you like.

If I can't get into the one you guys are or the one next door I'll probably find a verge somewhere, I have a tent that basically a tarp so don't need space.
Either that or claim I'm just spending the evening with you lot to get in, hide behind a caravan and pitch it at midnight under cover of darkness:mrgreen:

Theres a couple of pubs, a chippy and a cafe. Theres also a co-op if needed. Be nice if we could have a BBQ, but I'm not sure if the rules of the site allow this.
Saturday Lunch is at your favourite anyway :p

Liz was there last weekend and they do let you have a BBQ, the only thing they ask is that you dont put it on the grass, Liz said that they have plenty of blocks / bricks that you can borrow to put your BBQ on so no problem there I think.

I shall be pitching a tent to save £2 a night, however, I shall more than likely be sleeping in the van! (shh, don't tell the miserable b1tch at the camp site!) so there MAY be somewhere for you if you get refused.

Hi Phil
It was a VTR 1000 & Sheila sold it a while ago ....
Bit of a sore point as it was when I was going to sell mine after my Mate got killed on his bike ... but you lot persuaded me to keep mine !
She thinks I conned her into selling it !!

Ha ha, that'll teach you to make snap decisions! She should have kept it anyway, as by all accounts, it was a minter with low miles!

The walk into the village is approx 3 mins from the campsite and there is a cost cutters and a onestop where you can buy drink. Both seemed a bit pricey when i was there last weekend. Cost cutters is the place to go for cider they had one called frumpy C0ck or something.
All packed and ready to go!!! Feeling a little rough - hope I feel better in morning - an early night is in order.
Got some new leathers to wear - very excited!!! :D

Yes
Most supermarkets sell its, its made by a company called "Brothers"
Liz said that the sell ciders etc etc in one of the shops in Porlock so I expect you'd be able to get something local. The Brothers stuff is made in Shepton Mallet, not to far from where I live...
Its lovely stuff, but its like drinking squash, it drinks really easily and you get p*ssed rather quickly on it to.

There should be plenty of local cider around for you to try, theres a cider shop in Minehead or atleast there was, not far from where we can park the bikes.
The Sun is out here drying the roads out for you, I think we'll see the odd shower though! Tomorrow is looking alot more promising.
