Right Girls, you know who you are!
Firstly this is not one of those cheesy Ann Summers-type parties.
This is a weekend where we get together and talk about make-up, corsets, underwear, hair, nails and vintage clothing.
Proper traditional pin-up / Burlesque NOT chavvy imitations, we are talking about classy sexy here not cheap slutty.
Makeovers will include any hair cutting, colouring, styling by me (if you want anything specific, it will be free of charge just pay for the products, so I will need ideas of anyone who wants colour, highlights, lowlights etc as I will need to go and purchase them from the Professional shop.
I can also do any skincare/haircare workshops too if required.
Let me know your thoughts.
It will be held at my place, whoever needs to stay over let me know.

and yup i think hovis would probably look godd - frightening ain't it!
BTW - i too would need to stay - its a bit far for me!! and IP will probably want to come and would be a willing model

You go right ahead, just make sure you have plenty on the credit card, burlesque is an expensive lifestyle (especially corsets, but Mr VT hasn't complained yet and Im sure you wont!)

Well I can promise you, the stuff in there is just so beautiful that you will want to spend £1000s !!!
Plus Soul and I found a burlesque club, so what I intend to do is have this weekend to teach those who dont know how to do things and for those who do to share our knowledge. I will meet up with Tara sometime to update her on what we have learned and then...
Next burlesque meeting will involve tarting up and going to this club, should be good fun!

What was that date again, October sounds good to me? Just have to look into travel costs and what not. Just been promoted at work, so should be able to sort something out.
Will there be wine and chocolate consumption taking place? Just so I can stock up before hand?

I've been playing with cameras for twenty-something years, but don't do much studio work so I'd enjoy the opportunity to do something different. If you've got space (maybe the garage) I could bring over a couple of (clunky but functional) studio flashes as well as the digital camera & lenses.
The only thing I don't have is masses of crimson velvet for a really lush backdrop...

Right the order of events is as follows:
Thursday 15th October 2009:
I will be on a late shift, that means that if anyone wants to start coming up that on THURSDAY....
I can only fetch you from the station before 12:00hrs.
However I'm sure Mr VT will 'suffer' fetching any delicious ladies and bringing them back to our humble abode when I am at work.
I finish at 23:00hrs! Anyone arriving after this time, I will collect.
Friday 16th October 2009:
Girls who have stayed over:
Breakfast - naughty bacon rolls and fresh eggs (courtesy of Mr VT's Mum's chickens) or for those on diet, I have some horse feed in my tack room!
Mooch around, get ready for Lon-don (BRING COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES)
Girls meeting us in London:
Rendevous point and time tbc
Girls who are arriving Friday:
Please be at our house / station in good time so that we can get ready for London.
11:00hrs:Train to London
12:00hrs: Arrive London
12:00-13:00 Visit to designated shoppes (covering hair, make up, clothing, underwear and most importantly of all.....corsets!!)
13:00-14:00 Lunch
14:00: More shopping
17:00: Cafe Nero, Soho to meet up with the Soho peeps
20:00: Train back
21:00: Chatter, compare purchases
Saturday 17th October 2009:
Breakfast as per Friday
Collect girls from station
Visit to the horses
BBQ / lunch
Hair, make up, corsetting workshops and girly makeovers.
Please let me know if any of you are handy with a camera, Im useless as Im sure you have seen from my poor quality AR photos lol! Plus my camera isnt all that great either.
Will there be wine and chocolate consumption taking place? Just so I can stock up before hand?
Bring your own booze / chocs etc or if necessary an emergency run can be arranged to pick up supplies.

There are a few beds available for those who dont mind sharing and 2 very comfy leather sofas however I do think there will be quite a few of us, so some of you will need to bring sleeping bags and pillows. We can arrange this nearer the time.

However we will probably find some space somewhere.

I have to agree! i have been wanting more pics taken in stockings etc on a bike. That pic is so old now and i have dropped some weight to.....oh and not to mention the tatoo that now climbs from my toes up to my waist! This is soon to be extended and i cant wait.

Cool. Let me know what works for you.
As one of the girls has already pointed out, bikes make great props, and a proper workshop (lathe, mill, etc.) could make a cool backdrop for black & white shots. Just be sure to hoover up all the swarf first !!

You are very welcome hon, it will probably be cramped but I think its going to be worth the squish, I think we are all going to have a lot of fun. If you can try to come down for the Friday London shop too, then we can advise you on make up etc so you have everything you need for the makeover.

I expect Mr VT will speak to you on Thursday night about boys crosser day for the significant others kicked aside as their ladies are pinched from them that weekend.

Gosh T you will have enough on the go at that time. She is welcome to squeeze in where she can at mine, if worst case scenario comes then we will put our 4 man tent up in the garden.
Tare, if you want to come up for this (if you can...as I dont do human baby deliveries), we will make you as comfortable as possible, it would be lovely if you could and just because you are due soon doesnt mean you cant be there for the hair and makeup ( I promise we wont squeeze you into any corsets ;) ) Im not sure how it all works and I dont want to put you into any kind of awkward situation but if you think you can come then join us.

All dates and line up is posted on post #73. It will be on the Saturday 17th October 2009, so that means you will have just had him.
I have NO idea about preggy things, not sure if you will be recovered enough or if baby can go out or anything like that.
If it is possible that he is ok to come out and you have recovered, get Falc to bring you up and we will make sure you are all snuggly and comfy, might be a lovely pick me up for you after the birth too.

Im sorry :( They were a birthday pressie from Amnesia. The ones i wore on my wedding day were the flesh sheer ones, i had to buy 2 pairs just in case i had an accident and put my nails through them lol. So $80 later i have 2 pair.
The night that avatar pic was taken i got them stuck in the zipper of my thigh boot! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , you can imagine how angry i was!
It was also the night I proposed to Amnesia! :D

This all sounds so much fun. Will check my work schedule today and try to book the time off. Will most likely be a single over night for me, Saturday and Sunday, but will let you know. :D
