Defo, im suspicous of some 'players' when they get something like 59 kills and 6 or so deaths especially when i have fired aound 15 grenades, rockets etc at them and they dont die.

Ive only noticed a couple of things where I get dead on them and then they shoot n kill me!!!
I always watch the killcam when that happens and it always seems as if there is a time lag and Im shooting where he was slightly earlier.

I dunno, i found the fully auto assault rifles are wildly inaccurate due to the recoil and seem to be less powerful.
I use the M16 and you can kill a person in 1 three-round burst. Its so powerful. And some people are very, very good shots in close combat whereas I just panic and shot :)

Serioulsy Spider I would buy one from a shop. The warranty has been invaluable to me. Sony have had mine back 3 times and I have had a complete new unit which is holding out so far. Got extra warranty and a new controller out of it though :)

Sony are pretty good at sorting warranty issues tho, i had a problem with a memory card for my 1st ever ps and they sorted it quick enough iirc.

Quick question, how many people use wireless on their ps3, i was playing last night with ropey signal and everyone seemed quicker to fire than me, im not a high scorer anymore but i dont normally die that much either, but last night it was stupid, i was dying instantly, even from distance.
Sneaked up on a sniper, with the m16, lined it up with his head, fairly close range, he still didnt die, WTF?

I starting to wonder if the ps3 needs to be hardwired in rather than wireless, wonder if its a slight delay.

I went on a game a week or so after the game was released and there was a guy there who apparently was on his 7th prestige. The rest of them with headsets gave him such a torrent of abuse and obsenities that he left the game :)

I've been looking on tinterweb, the way people have got all the silly scores is via a hack. Apparently, you extract a saved game file from the PS3 via USB, put it on a computer and change some of the parameters within the file. It gives you a silly score, with everything unlocked on prestige 10. Personally I think it is pointless. I think all those who have done this should have their scores wiped. Most of the new patches that are being released are to plug holes in these glitches / hacks so people can't do them.

Trouble is, you wont climb up the levels very fast, i started playing deathmatch games all the time, but friends were playing HQ and domination for less time than me but shed loads more points.
So, im playing catch up now, even though i have played online longer.
In particular, 1 friend has around 100,000 more points than me and i have played about 2 hours longer than him, if we played a dm against each other i would win every time but he plays HQ all the time.

Kill/Death Ratio is the most important thing for me.
I suffered loads the first few days I played it and was rubbish but I've slowly come back now, infact in the last 2 weeks or so I can recall only 2 matches where I was killed more than I killed.

I'm not massively bothered about the ratio or accuracy, but I've noticed mine has naturally improved. I just want the better guns. Finally got the M16 now!

In free for alls it aint about kill/death ratio, its about kills, period! There's no point hiding in a place and killing a few and dying very seldom. The best way to get loadsa kills on free for all is too accept you'll get killed and can't do nothing about it at times, but the more you run round and be aggressive, the more you kill, hence more points.

get lucky with 5 kills, hide and call in missile for 2 kills, call in Harriers for at least 4 kills, call in Chopper, lots of kills = K/D ratio of 15+/1 :thumleft:

also trying out the M9 handgun and loving it, seems to work better then magnum or the eagle (too much kick), waiting for the tactical knife, it'll be crazy with Marathon, Lightweight & Commando perks (fastest setup) wll be running around maps like a K9!

Just been on a domination game, we were winning something 195 - 130 then the guy on the other team called in a nuke.
This happens a fair bit, but only at the end when i seen the stats for the game, he had 106 kills, no deaths which went up to 111 kills, 1 death by the time the nuke went off.
Cheating fooker.
You get a nuke after 25 kills so he had that the whole game, but knew full well he was gonna get loads so waited until we were just about to win.
It is impossible to get that many kills in a game of domination without someone killing you at least a few times.

His tag was speedline something, look out for the c**t.
