going sole/team rushing doesn't work well, flanking takes too long...

we need to organize ourselves into assault and fire teams! Fire team(s) to suppress them on the flanks, forcing tangos to approach from one direction only. allowing the assault team to push while having cover on both flanks, needing only to worry about tangos from a forward direction :rambo:

can't find a good diagram but here's the idea anyway.

5 players - 1 x assault (envelopment) team and 1 x fire team (fixing)

Tho killing helis is doing us all a favour and i was looking out for all of us....which is a bit stupid on free for all i guess, lol.

I love Lucas' tactics and agree we need to play in a private room to practice these things BUT wa also need to have as many peeps on comms as possible so we can discuss who needs to go where etc as we do it.

Its al good idea to have us all on one team in a room, so we cant kill each other and have to respawn and run back to positions etc and put these tactic into practice and find the flaws or holes.

I dont knwo the maps well enough yet but i'm learning so i'm happiest when left with an acog scope and my scar-h to cover one sector fro incoming baddies and give covering fire to those running to objectives.

its also a good plan so we can make sure each person has the loadout for their class right for whatever part they play in the team.

Runners like brucelee, with swift feet and double uzis, coverage with good scopes and hard hitting weapons etc.

I'll be on late tonight tho cos it my mums birthday and will be taking her out this evening.

Great fun yesterday tho, even if one game i had 0 kills and 19 deaths :oops:

myself and Allright treacle were on last night and had a little blast about, there wasnt much tactics involved, generally just chased each other around and tried not to get killed by the same sniped every time.

i got myself a bluetooth headset yesterday which makes it much easier in multiplayer, quite a good laugh, espec laughing at the kiddies swearing at each other in french.

Now none of you who have played with me are gonna believe this....last game i played last night was a sabotage in terminal and i got 25 kills!!! Yes me, 25 kills and only 19 deaths. Woohoo.

sorry mate , nah just picked it off the top of ebay, have a gander on ebay there'll be a bargain. For under £10 I wouldn't mind an unbranded one but you can sometimes get 'trust' computer kit cheap and I rate it better than microsoft or logitech on most products.
I bought a trust wireless mouse and keyboard (when it was a relatively new concept, competitors were near £100) must have been almost 10 years ago for £25 , it's still going strong.

Yeh its ace when were all on the same team and can chat but its a pain in free games when the kids are screaming on it. Socom had it right where you had to hold a button to speak, meant you only said things you mean to not just random junk.

Oh and Dave, no good saying boo really loud cos its only on a free for all game that opposition can hear you.

Had some guy last night who i bet wished he had a mike. he was on my team and i stole his airdrop thing by accident, lol. He chased me for ages and emptied all his bullets into me and when he was out of ammo kept stabbing me :lol: I think he may have been a little annoyed at me. hate to hear what he would have called me if he had a mike but i was laughing all the time he was shooting and stabbing me, i could just feel how angry he was at me :lol:

hey guys, when you get a killstreak, don't happen often lol, i press the right arrow button and a grenade type thing appears is that it, meant to get a care package or something, do you have to press another button to throw the grenade/marker?, mind you as soon as that happens i usually get slotted straight away anyhow.:)

When you get a care package select it press r2 like you are throwing a grenade. This will throw a red flare. A helicopter will then drop a crate on the flare. This will contain yoir prize

i hate noob tubes , i dont even do the 20 kills any more for the bonus but if im strugling for xp to prstige ill put on danger close and put on noob tube, thumper, claymore and **** every one off and rank up really quick ;-)

Well I am and have been for a wee while now able to enter prestige mode...but I don't think I want to.
from level 1-40 it was frustrating and hard as the guns were pants, since then I have enjoyed it more and got frustrated less and can see myself having a crap time from 1-40 in prestige mode again.
But it is annoying not getting anymore XP points.

I actually found Prestige from 1-40 much more fun. The reason being is that because you have more experience, you tend to get through much quicker second time around. The frustrating part is finishing off, as you need so much XP per level towards the end.

i hate noob tubes , i dont even do the 20 kills any more for the bonus but if im strugling for xp to prstige ill put on danger close and put on noob tube, thumper, claymore and **** every one off and rank up really quick ;-)

Personally i couldnt give a t0ss who has what, i use grenade launchers on my assault rifle or thumper if using another gun but never both together.
Shotgun is my secondary weapon and i get loads more kills with that than i ever would with a grenade launcher.
Launchers are good on games like hq and domination when you just cant get there quick enough but you can fire up at windows or from distance.
You gotta use what gets you the most results, our real army dont say im not using a grenade launcher cos the taliban might think we are not veterans do they.

Well I am and have been for a wee while now able to enter prestige mode...but I don't think I want to.
from level 1-40 it was frustrating and hard as the guns were pants, since then I have enjoyed it more and got frustrated less and can see myself having a crap time from 1-40 in prestige mode again.
But it is annoying not getting anymore XP points.

Mr Spiers, i think i sent you a message recently saying the same thing, i dont think i will prestige again, the loss of decent weapons was very annoying and i dont wanna go through that again.
Gotta get as much cod action tonight as going away for the weekend and wont be back on till sunday night :D.

I don't see the issue with Noob tubes. Like Specialone says......in the right circumstances its useful, but I also get way more kills with either the shotgun or one of the automatic pistols. If its a map with constricted areas, then shotguns are brill. But anything wide open I will either have a rocket launcher or pistol. I am not a fan of using the Cold Blooded perk as Stopping Power is too good, especially with guns like the ACR.

The only other setup I use is one for HQ, using UMP45 (with FMJ), Marathon, Lightweight, Commando. Means you can run around like a loon really quick.
