well i saw the lambo pass so i pulled out to chase, got to some lights and i filtered to the front  and i took off on the line, he was quick to follow but i edge away (obv he dint have full power on) but i then carried on to the next lights . lambo wasnt seen. i pulled up waiting lmao :L he went passed and another car behind . got to a 200yard stretch and over took car 1 then the lambo he sure put his foot down but all ready had momentum  he chased me up the hill and slowly eased off. there for,, sv restricted 1, lambo 0 ,
we do not see lambos round here, my brother told me about him seeing it earlier this morning, he remebered the reg plate and i car checked it with iphone app and got the details of engine size. if he wants race number 2 then he can see my dad as his cars alot faster than that

Almost as ghey in fact as confessing to racing on the public highway in a public forum.

Lol either the gheyhardon was being driven by a utter pleb or it was an Mr2 kits as a restricted sv would struggle to take a paper bag off the line let alone even the slowest gheyhardon in production, which still chucks out a 4.3 0-60 time

There is probably a Lambo driver on a similar forum posting about how a bike desperately tried to beat him off the lights for no reason today. Everyone will agree with them that not rising to it was very sensible and yet again we get tarred by the same brush… There is no place on our crowded roads for street racing and it turns car drivers and the public at large against us.

All a PTS proves is that you are authorised on track. It does not an Engineer make.
FFS I know loads with a PTS, they are labourers, painters etc.

So you know not to stand in front of a moving train and can pass a medical?
PTS Certificate
A PTS Certificate is required before anybody is allowed to work within the boundary of Network Rail (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_Rail) tracks in the UK (on or near the line). It is also a requirement in the Republic of Ireland. Any potential employee must undergo a medical and a drug and alcohol test before attending a "personal track safety" course.
The PTS Certificate lists competencies held by the person named on the card. - this may include
Medical Certificate (expiry dependent on age)
PTS (AC or DC) (expiry 2 years)
PICOP, COSS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controller_of_site_safety), IWA or others...
Deregulation in the National Railway Service in the UK has meant that increasing numbers of subcontractors are being employed within the track environment. Contractors are often used for specific limited projects and are often from companies that have not previously been considered as having “railway pedigrees or culture”.
To work on or near the track involves certification for the individual employee of which there are several levels of competence and responsibility which are assessed.
The basic level for track access for Network Rail (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_Rail) is the Personal Track Safety certificate (PTS) as defined by the railway safety standards NR/L2/CTM/021. These levels of certification only assess the individual’s ability to work safely in the track environment. This means that the individual is able to respond and correctly react to circumstances which may arise in this potentially dangerous environment. Persons therefore should not have any condition or be taking any medication that may lead to sudden incapacity, loss of consciousness, dizziness, impairment of awareness, concentration, balance, coordination, or any significant limitation of mobility or impairment of hearing and vision. Persons with minor medical conditions (e.g. colour blind) may still be issued a PTS - though the card will have an indicator, a red triangle, to inform the Controller of Site Safety (COSS) to that person ailment. Similarly, those who have only recently got their PTS certificate will have a green square on their card to indicate their 'new' status.
The medical assessment undertaken for PTS certification does not address the medical specificity for tasks that an individual may be expected to undertake in their normal duties when actually working on the track. i.e. operating machinery or responsibility for other staff requires a higher level of assessment for the job specification and procedures.
The medical assessment for these certificates must be undertaken by an accredited medical provider. In the case of PTS this is authorised by the “Link up procedure” under the authority of Network Rail.
Providers of this service are registered appropriately and regular audit is undertaken to ensure that they meet the quality control levels for the specific standards of performance and training needed to reliably undertake the medical assessments.
Since 2006 the standards for a PTS have been regulated by The Office of Rail Regulation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_of_Rail_Regulation)

Or a real interest in a pastime that he really enjoys and actually looks into how he can improve his riding. It takes no skill to twist a throttle till the cables snap and even less skill to win a race when your the only one racing. God even I can win those kind of races.
You really should have a think about reading the books mentioned they will make you a safer more confident rider, and more than likely quicker to boot.

the lambo driver wasn't trying. you admit to being restricted. FFS i had an escort ST2 give me loads of sport and found it very very hard to pull away from him and that's with a full power SV so with a restricted SV you had no fekin chance going against a lambo.
anyway do what you do and have fun.

Joe, no disrespect but a restricted SV wouldn't pull away from the skin of a rice pudding ( god knows what that means), maybe 0-60 a full power sv should match it but after 60 the Lamborghini will destroy it.
That said in a drag race I wouldnt mind a go with it and my sprint 0-100 :)

Nothing overly interesting... Just fiddling with a couple of new bikes out in the workshop.
It's been raining pretty much non-stop since the 20th and it is 200km to the bitumen so any of the tracks that aren't covered by 3ft of water are 3ft of mud. Even the airstrip is risky business at the moment.

Nobody deserves to die, but if he could just have a accident that just results in permanent damage to his testicles, that would stop him reproducing and do society a favour.

Australia does have good weather, it is just that when it rains in the tropics it can really rain and up my way everything goes under or turns to slush. Even light dirt bikes will bury themselves in the stuff. Sometimes, just for laughs or as act of cruelty (I am undecided on which, but I do not usually interfere), Stocky will send one of the new guys out to check a fence line on a paddock that is empty at this time of the year for good reason. The fence doesn't get checked and the poor slob will spend most of the day digging his bike out with just how long and the amount of effort expended dependent on how far he was silly enough to go in before turning around and telling Stocky where he can shove his orders.
However, the rule is that when it is wet then no vehicles are on the tracks because of the amount of damage that can be done and all of the boundary gates are locked and signs posted.
Yep, I am an Aussie.
Memories of an ad campaign from the 80's ....a 2CV at it's top speed of 71.5mph is faster than a Porche travelling at 70mph

well i saw the lambo pass so i pulled out to chase, got to some lights and i filtered to the front ;) and i took off on the line, he was quick to follow but i edge away (obv he dint have full power on) but i then carried on to the next lights . lambo wasnt seen. i pulled up waiting lmao :L he went passed and another car behind . got to a 200yard stretch and over took car 1 then the lambo he sure put his foot down but all ready had momentum ;) he chased me up the hill and slowly eased off. there for,, sv restricted 1, lambo 0 ,
we do not see lambos round here, my brother told me about him seeing it earlier this morning, he remebered the reg plate and i car checked it with iphone app and got the details of engine size. if he wants race number 2 then he can see my dad as his cars alot faster than that ;)
