Thanks for the feedback regarding the Nitron shocks. I think that is what i will go for.

Thanks for that. I have thought of the zx10 zx6r 04 06 or GSXR shock swap but I prefer to get something made to fit the bike. I realise your option is a lot cheaper it's just a personal preference at...

elka shock question?

Would a pointy elka shock fit a curvy. I understand that the spring and valving would be all wrong out of the box. However as the shock is rebuildable those things could be fixed if it fitted.

The seller measured it as 345mm shock eye to eye so I guess it is an srad.
Seems expensive for an old shock

What about doing a cartridge kit for the front. I am looking into this myself and the price is steep approx. 350 pounds for the kit but you get to keep all your other bits. I dunno what it would cost...

Yeah the shed has a concrete floor.
