Part 9; Hayabusa? Don't Mind If I Do:
Well it wouldn't be natural not to do some more to the engine. So the Hayabusa Piston Mod was on the list. I had the barrels honed when the crank went in for the regrind and bearings. I dug around in the garage and found a couple of Hayabusa Pistons, got a set of SV piston rings and installed them.
For comparison the Hayabusa Piston is on the left the SV on the right.
The piston installed in the rear.
And installed in the front.
