Default Interesting Forks

Spotted this in Tescos car park tonight...

Its an old D reg GSXR I think its a 1100? Photos ain't great as they're off me phone. Nice bike, showing its age a bit, but some nice little extras to it. But what really got me eye was the front forks...

Not seen many RWU forks with what I presume is adjustment on them as an extra module near the spindle. So I was wondering if anyone had any info about it?

My 84 GSX550 had them connected to the front brake hydraulics, the harder you braked, the more antidive you got. Theoretically, impaired the feel at the lever. I thought it worked quite well but then I wasn't much of a rider! The ones above worked on speed of fork compression and came on later models.

I had anti-dive on my old CBX550 ... I tried winding it all the way in and all the way out ... I didn't really notice any difference ... perhaps mine was a bit knackered??

I think it is a great idea (in theory)!

+1 My CBX550 showed no difference when I messed with it. It was just a good excuse for the MOT boys to fail your bike because "It didn't work properly matey"

I'm currently making some blanking off plates for the anti-dive on a GPZ750 Turbo because it failed the MOT on the anti-dive not working correctly.
