Default Aftermarket peg fitting problem, sv650s (07)

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me where to buy foot pegs that will definitely fit a 07 sv650s. I googled this as came up with this Motrax DHM foot rests which said it fit ‘all’ sv650 models (see pegs below). I didn’t study it too hard and just bought them assuming the ‘S’ would have the same pegs

I fit them to the bike but there is nothing to hold them at the correct orientation for the feet to rest on, so they just spin up and down uselessly. The current ones on the bike have a stop that sits against the hanger and a spring to keep them down.

Can someone point me the right direction?

Thanks,
Ben

you've not put the springs back when you've rebuilt the pegs, or have put them in backwards

Is that a picture of the actual pegs you have? If yes then they've been assembled wrongly, the sqaure edge should be at the bottom.

I'm trying to to send them back as in fact the shape of the fitting on the pegs I received don't match the picture in the description, as there is an almost square corner but mine are curved off so it won't hold level against the hanger in any orientation.

Can anyone link me to a decent peg that'll fit?
