A mate has one, says it's noisey as hell but suits the 'streetfighter' look he's after.

This is only what i was told about 5 months ago (not 100% sure on truth of it) but...

"Meets ECE R 22-05 safety standards"

And that means it isnt tested to European standards and you cant use it on the road

Like i say only what i was told quite some time ago so i would do a bit more digging

***Unless im thinking of another make***

yup, expensive, nice looking, tad noisy. Matt had two. Never used to see them often, if IIRC they're German or something. More popular now with the Stig etc

I cant remember much about what it was but the mechanic where i used to work got one and the girl i worked with who was in the clothing department looked at it and im sure she couldnt find the European standard marking any where, and when she checked the website where he bought it from it said "Meets ECE R 22-05 safety standards"

I really don't think it'll be any different from any modern day helmet, they're all bloody loud these days!
I'm sure Matt thought they were well made, he had the white one for years, and when it really was on its last legs, went straight for a black replacement, he had one or two other helmets to choose from, but pretty much lived in his craft lid. The black one was always used for long distances.

I have an old Craft VR7. I liked the design but wasn't a fan of it in use.

I felt the chin bar was a little to high. Noise reduction was good. But the visor would often flip up above particular speeds.

I keep it now for pillions, but might give it another go tomorrow just to remind myself of what it was like.
