For Sale:2001 Honda Fireblade
Got a mate selling his Honda Fireblade, 2001 bike, details below.
20,400 miles Full Service History (all bar one at a Honda main dealer) 20,000 mile service just done Owned for 2.5 years, never ridden in wet in that time… washed regularly MOT til July 2012 Tax til Feb 2012 Completely standard bike, except for the following tasteful mods:- - carbon-fibre rear hugger - F.Fabbri tinted double-bubble screen (looks great!) - Hel braided brake lines all round - Oxford Eyeshot Nano indicators all round (look them up… they are the best you can buy!!!) Because I don’t want to waste anyone's time, here are the negatives:- - rear tyre will need replacing in the next couple of hundred miles - small "nick" in corner of pillion seat (about 5mm square) - small crack in right-hand mounting point of front mudguard (barely noticeable) - small shallow "gouge" in lower right-hand fairing (about 1cm long, common problem, caused by crank-case bolt rubbing on inside of fairing) The bike is in very good condition. Rides very well, sweet steering, and fast! There are no flat spots at all… even the common low-RPM fuelling problems are absent on this bike (which is why I bought it!). Also, it qualifies for "modern classic" insurance (e.g. Carole Nash) so insurance can be surprisingly cheap.   Looking for £2350 O.N.O |
