Morning all,
I have a few questions about dual bike insurance. Am thinking of getting either getting a new bike alongside/instead of the sv. Should I be keeping the SV, will be looking for a policy for both bikes together. Firstly, can anyone recommend an good insurers that offer this service? Secondly, am aware that admiral do a policy that allows you to add the second car when its current policy is up for renewal. Does anyone know of any insurers that offer this for bikes? or do dual bike policies have to have both bikes on the policy from the start? Cheers. |

There are a couple of multi bike policies out there that are good. Speak to CIA who I am now insured with after the hell I went through with MCE.
MCE do claim to offer multi bike policies, however MCE cannot be trusted at all, have a flick through my blog for details. |

Do NOT use MCE.
Do NOT use Admiral. I have a two bikes insured via Wicked Quotes, they were able to add the second on half way through the year with only an additional £40 premium. I have had good service from them so far. I understand that eBike and Adelaide also do multi bike polices. My advice would be the usual ring around to get a cheap quote on the main or highest rated bike and then ask if they can add the additional bike. |

Although I have multi bike with swinton, it's slighty more expensive than 2 separate policies, I just wanted it neat.
Considering you're only riding one at a time I think it should be cheaper than it is. |

they normally have an age cap for multi bike, which made it dam hard to find one as im only 20.
in the end a company called alfa did it at a very good price. |

I did mine with Ebike
I insured the GSXR and then added the SV to the policy as a 2nd bike, cost £20 on top of the price to insure the GSXR.
