The Wrong Way Back - Spare us a Few Quid - SV650.org

A few of you will have seen some activity on Facebook about this. It started a while ago when Rick ( Viper ) asked me for some help about buying a pushbike. Once I had recovered from the shock, of Viper going anywhere near a form of pedal based transport let aloen considering riding one ! He explained that he was taking part in "The Wrong Way Back"

The Wrong Way Back charity cycle ride will start from the Dolphin Hotel in Wincanton on June 1st 2013 and will finish back at the same location on the 8th June 2013.

The route will take riders from Wincanton up to Minehead and along the north coast to Land’s End where they will then head back along the south coast to Weymouth.

From there they will head back in land to Wincanton. Each rider will cycle an average of 80 miles a day to complete this 560 mile challenge.

He said to me a week or so ago that there was a space going spare so I've been invited to join the team as well.

We are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and also Help for Hero's.

My dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer a couple of years ago and thankfully it was caught in time and he is well on the road to recovery, so the Macmillan aspect of this has a personal element to me and I suspect there's plenty of us on the org that have been effected by Cancer in one shape or another.
