Default Hydrographics ?

I'm thinking of trying hydrographic film on my fairing panels, I've ordered a small basic kit to try it out, will update once I've had a go.

just wondering if anyone had tried it or had any tips ?

well it's something I've seen the results but not tried before, so I'll start with something small see how it goes, but if it turns out OK, I aim to do both sides of the front fairing on the Versys and perhaps the bottom half of the screen.

you're supposed to clear lacquer it, so should be as durable as paint.

Looks like an interesting option then if its going to last the same. How does that compare to a paint job price wise then?

Hmmmm, well I'd guess if I don't screw it up to much (and waste film); I'd imagine doing both front fairing panels would be £40-50, but it's not so much cost more the fact you can have anything from carbon look, to flames/skulls or even snake skin, which would have to be airbrushed to get a similar effect otherwise.
