Thanks to Steve's kind offer of assistance, my K3 naked now sports Maxton front springs and 15w oil and what a difference they make as well!
Of course Suzuki cheese did its best to thwart us in the form of two front mudguard screws, but four drill bits later, much hammering and sawing and we had it all back together albeit with one mudguard mounting now having a plastic zip tie and the left fork needing the attentions of a proper Engineering shop to remove the body of one screw determined not to be budged. The actual spring changes were a doddle, but as always experience and a couple of little tips ensured that this was the case (thanks again Steve) At least I now feel confident enough to remove the fork at some point myself to take it to the Engineering shop!!!! Having looked at other bike marque websites only this one (and the Blackbird website) has really helpful and friendly advice with members prepared to put themselves out for others..........................long may it continue ![]() |
