Default Twin Renegade or MIVV High Up Pipes

Ok I hear these are available does anybody know where from?
I know they will cost but they look well nice. And may be a lot easier than the conversion I about to embark on!!!

Contact Renegade through there web site-don't know if you'll need to send your pipes to them to get the collector altered-there still in business, i got an email from them last week re the twin pipes-i'm getting a set of link pipes from them for a spare set of twins-might be easier to go with ixil, i'm running them and i love the look and sound.

Do not go for the MIVV, they are rubbish. After 4000km's the damping-stuff was vanished and the carbon started to burn.
Italian... It looks good but that's it.

I prefer the Renegades for look. However in my experience (I run a single high level) Carbon exhausts are not the way to go, it burns and cracks. I intend to get mine re-sleeved in Ti once I can be bothered and have destroyed can #3.

I've not used or heard the others but am very impressed with the nice little rumble my single gives and can't wait to hear a set of twins...

Any carbon can will burn up if you're running too rich, or if the baffle material blows out- end cans do need serviced, I've always done mine every 4000 miles as that way I don't need to completely redo it (I just take the end cap off and wedge more glass in using a broomhandle ) but this is not the textbook approach, most people do it less often but completely repack it. Not saying that was the problem here o'course, but it's worth mentioning.

Titanium will discolour in the same circumstances, if you're unlucky, there's a lot to be said for stainless steel...

Cheers, I will do some searching before I cut mine up. They look good with the conical ends...

Ah yes done that one. When I took the blown one apart I was looking at about only 10% of the packing. But hey it had a good life some where around 25k. The replacement seams to be going a little quicker though...
