Default 'Humph'

I had the pleasure of seeing him host IMIHAC last month, and hearing him play at the end. One of Britain's national treasures AFAIK.

I really liked "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" and it won't be the same without him. Wonderful man and superb player.

Just read his obitury on the Guardian website, and noticed it was by George Melly. I guess he must have written it a little while back

I remember listening to the show with my dad when I was a kid. Very funny man, a great loss.
