Smile Full A-License, what about B...?

hi, guys
I wondered, if I have full A license, do I have to repeat theory test for car and pay again for it?? or can I just go for B practical test...~???
I have to buy additional transport (car), for private reasons.....
(this is why im interested of doing B license hehe)
But, don't worry I still stay with bikes....

THANKS

My understanding is the theory tests are class specific, so you will need to do the car one despite having a full bike licence

Yes and no...

Having just gone through the pain a learning to drive 4 wheels I enquired with the DVLA to be sure and was told that:

Fortunately my licence was issued before 2001. Unfortunately my B1 entitlement mysteriously vanished, so I had to waste my time doing the Theory and Hazard Perception tests.

That's ****ing ridiculous, you would have thought someone that's read the highway code in the last 8 years would be exempt from doing a repeat theory test not the other way round!

I had to do 2 theory tests within months of each other one for car one for bike and on the bike test there was one question different (motorbike related). Another £50 to the DSA

Surprisingly the hazard perceptions are the same too, according to the DSA motorcycle rider's and car drivers have exactly the same hazards to consider
Word to the wise though I got nearly full marks on the hazards perception whilst drunk - only just scraped a pass while sober.
