Default Scrapping a bike - how?

My wife had an off last year on her old DT125R, we decided to break the bike and all we have left is the frame, lower engine and V5. How do we go about scrapping it as we have to keep sorning it?

Same story here. Trouble is I don't even have the frame anymore (don't ask). Basically when I looked into it apparently you cannot scrap it yourself, you must take it to an authorized scrap yard, which will be nowhere near you, for them to do it. While this might work for you, it won't work for me. So I'm going to go to my local DVLA office when I get a chance and get them to deal with it then and there. But if you find out before me, do let me know your results.

They will be doing that to keep some sort of regulation on it so that not every Steve, Dan or other reprobate can tell them they have scrapped a bike but then go on to use it in naughty ways! Pain in the butt though!

Insure it protected no claims, tax it, lose it, claim on it?

Bloke down the pub told me it'd work as long as you weren't a young'un with sky rocket premiums.

Was at Whip Street yesterday. They won't sign it off as scrapped as it's incomplete, will only give me money for it's scrap value.
