Can someone please explain to me why I'm seeing more and more cars driving around with what I can only explain as a towel tucked into the bonnet? Or more to the point, why?
Each to their own and all that, but I've got no idea what on earth they are and what benefit they give? |

bonnet bra's I guess?
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=bon...w=1366&bih=596 popular on vw t4's and t5's since they protect against stone chips - available in leather, vinyl and other fabrics etc. I was surprised the first time I saw one but then warmed to the idea... Then I've spotted a few corsa's and chav'd up hot hatches wearing them - I've gone right off ![]()

A bonnet bra? They do look gash
But if it's on a corsa with with a massive exhaust in a maccy d's carpark then it's " Well sick bruv!" or something like that anyway

Bra? *snigger*
Ok if I accept that it is to prevent stone chips, I feel almost awkward in pointing out that the painted bumper doesn't have one... |

Lots of cars have these in Canada where the aggressive road salt otherwise messes up the paint on the front of the bonnet. Don't think we have the same problem over here!!!!!!!
