Its not possible, best one to do is the GSR600, have a look at Nillies conversion. I know he did a lot of work to make it fit.
If it was easy I woulds have done it ![]() I have seen a standard curvy swingarm braced and I did enquire with a swingarm fabricator about having my spare one braced. But it wasn't cheap.

I picked up a GSXR swingarm when it was thrown in with some wheels I bought. I did offer it up to the back of my Pointy and it would go in easily enough, the problem is the rear exhaust. There simply isn't room to pass it through the GSXR swingarm. I guess you could go to the effort of re-locating the battery and then re-routing the rear exhaust up and out the back of the seat unit as per Moto GP style..... actually now that I come to think about it......

Off the top of my head its the same with the 675 swing arm. I've also looked into a model of R6 arm but that has the shock in the wrong position if I remember. Though I've not offered one up to be sure. There is also someone on here who was doing a GSXR600 arm, but I don't know how they got on or which model it was. The problem with the GSR arm is (apart from the engineering involved) the weight of it. Now and again I get ideas and find myself on eBay looking at swing arms from Aprilia's, RGV's, Triumphs. One day I will get round to solving Suzuki's design fault but there are other projects on the go so it may be some time... |
