Is it just me?

So I'm sat here watching Top Gear as I do everyday, and I've just had a thought...

We need a bike program that has the same intentions as top gear: humor, comparisons and different genres (dirt bikes, trail bikes, superbikes, tourers etc)

WHY DON'T WE HAVE THIS?!
I've only ever seen a Super Bike on TopGear once and that was a CBR. And Ricky Carmichael stared in the Challenges #4 vs Ken Block!
They need to make a new program.

There is the Bike Channel (the Fast Bike show) on EuroSports dicussed here (its moved channels now). Its ok if they get rid of the woman who has no ability to present.

And the other night I saw the Bike Show on ITV4. That wasn't bad the presenter did a series on bike tours that was ok. Good as a first attempt needs a little more work but shows more promise and production value than the Bike Channel, they just need a little more something...

Yeah I can agree!

The only problem is like its hard to find something on popular 'gear head' channels such as Dave and one that has the same humor.
If they did something like this it would help people find a new bike or their first bike in some respects
Just a shame Jeremy Clarkson hates bikes :'(

I third that A top gear style bike show would be great but not if its on that satamalite telly stuff cos i haven't got it cos im skint normal tv for me please.

Second that! We need it on either BBC or on Dave like topgear!

Great idea but drop Hammond, he's past it - Im too bored of him on Top Gear, having him on a new bike show would hurt its appeal if I'm honest. How about taking another disopline on board, you've got the road stuff covered with Guy and the Short Circuit with Suzy so maybe get Duggy Lampkin or Dave Knight presenting for the off road contingent.

The only reason I like Hammond is because he's into muscle cars and different genres of bikes - but his sarcasm and humor is crap and I just don't find him funny.

Topgear Vietnam Special was probably the best top gear they did!

Start with the Hamster to pull the crowd then replace after Series 1 make it a feature of the show and replace someone every year - can be totally fixed in the style of the Top Gear "challenges" or be a fair vote - it wouldn't matter.

That way you can keep the show fresh.
