Default SV650 Engine Upgrade?

So, I used to have a Millie (that got nicked) got the SV650 '04 as an in-betweeny whilst the insurance was doing its thing. Really like the SV and had it for 18months.
Think I'm going to mod the hell out of it. The usual front & **** end stuff BUT only if the engine can handle upgrades.

Can an '04 SV650 be Big bored without the gear box turning to mush - or can you squeeze a SV/TL 1000 lump in there??

Cheers guys, any and all option very gratefully read.

Easier to sort suspension etc to make the SV1000 go round corners than shoehorn a random engine into the 650.

I would think, I might be wrong or course.

Depends who is riding them. I never had any problems, even two up.

You will not get a 1000 engine in a 650 without major chassis mods - cost will greatly outweigh the advantages, unless you are just doing it for bragging rights.

Ride the SV for what it is, and if it is not enough bike for you then get a different one.

There is a Curvy on eBay at the moment with a TL lump in it. Just saying...

Not true.
