Dragging clutch, Curvy.
Had issue engaging 1st, but been brand spanking new to biking, I put it down to a gearbox of 14 years old would just be a bit agricultural ( I know jack sh#t about mechanical things and stuff !,...
So off to my local bike garage ...well after a quick strip down of the clutch assembly ... He told me that the plates were sticking...the bike had been parked up from last October...any how I'd seen a few posts on what could be causing the drag and thought may help others on the forum....and the bike is now running spot on....happy days....nearly forgot garage only charged me £50 which I thought was pretty good |

£50 ouch!!!
Lent bike on side, took clutch cover off, took top of clutch basket off, took all plates etc off, possibly cleaned them, put it all back together. 1/2 - 3/4 hour tops, glad I do my own servicing |
