Default Pointy project - done

I'm feeling quite chuffed with myself after 18 months work on this (don't get much time for the usual reasons) so here's the end (well, almost) of my K3 project. Couple of decals and last checks (wiring mainly) to do:

I like that, nice work.

Where is that headlight from, much work to get it in?

Cheers SH - not as adventurous as your efforts, but still.

Light's off a nekkid Fazer. I went for it as I quite like the "pointier" shape of it over a traditional round single light.

Wasn't too bad to get in - just needed a bracket made up which was cannabalised from the original Fazer bracket. Mounts to the lower yoke and the two ignition barrel bolts at the top yoke. Bit of jiggling for height and clearance of the yoke/clocks/loom etc. - there's a secondary "L" shaped bracket joining the headlight bracket itself to the lower yoke which also pushes the light unit forward enough to line up to the road. You can just about see it in the second photo. I confess I gave up on the "sidelight" as it's a "lights always on" model anyway.

cheers Mikey - wasn't the colour I had in mind originally, but really pleased with it in the end. Imaginary prize for anyone who knows what the green is...

that about describes it - there's a sort of gold-ness to it. It is a colour as it is - not a unique one done for this project though...
